Elora Singers replace Noel Edison with conductor Mark Vuorinen.

Amidst the turmoil of sexual misconduct accusations surrounding Noel Edison, the Elora Singers and Elora Festival has announced Mark Vuorinen as Interim Artistic Director.

Vuorinen is a familiar face to the Elora Singers, and recently conducted them this past February.

The announcement marks a quick turnaround for the Elora Singers, who will perform this weekend at the Basilica Of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph, ON.

The young conductor is also doing double duty as Artistic Director of Kitchener-Waterloo’s Grand Philharmonic Choir and Assistant Professor of Music at Conrad Grebel University College.
