Through those core activities, Martin will oversee has the development of Canadian choreographic talent, along with sharing the NBC’s resources with the larger dance community in this country.
The role was created by Artistic Director Emerita Karen Kain and Robert Binet.

- The Choreographic Workshop allows independent choreographers the opportunity to develop their works with the NBC’s artists, music and production staff.
- Micro-Commissions are small scale, innovative works, and the National Ballet will commission three each season.
