Bridgerton Season 3: Covers from the Series continues to exert a stranglehold on the No. 1 position, complete with a track from Toronto’s own Strings From Paris. No. 2 remains unchanged as well, with Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Nicola Benedetti and Benjamin Grosvenor and their version of the Beethoven Triple Concerto.

Sharon Isbin’s Live in Aspen rises from No. 9 to No. 5, and Janine Jansen with Sibelius — Prokofiev 1 Violin Concertos just behind, rising from No. 10 last week to No. 6 today. GRAMMY-winning guitarist Isbin’s live, sold out concert at the 2022 Aspen Music Festival featured Amjad Ali Khan, Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash, Amit Kavthekar.

Dutch violinist’ Janine Jansen’s new recording is the first release for the artist in nine years. Recorded with conductor Klaus Mäkelä and the Oslo Philharmonic, it captures the close musical relationship between the two.

New to the Classical Chartz this week is Andris Nelsons and the Vienna Philharmonic with their album Sommernachtsckonzert 2024/Summer Night Concert 2024, which lands at No. 10. The recording captures a live concert, an annual event that took place in June, on the grounds of Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, featuring soprano Lise Davidson in a program of Wagner, Smetana and Verdi, along with pieces by Augusta Holmes, Aram Iljitsch Chatschaturjan, and Shostakovich.
