Soundstreams has announced today that they will be cancelling all remaining events of the 2019/20 season.

Affected events include:

• Secrets April 23 & 24 at the Drake Underground
• Musik fur das Ende May 6-9 at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre
• Encounters events March 30 and May 4
• RBC Bridges emerging composer workshop in early May
• European and Ottawa tour events Musik fur das Ende.

“Soundstreams believes that music has the ability to bring people together, and break down barriers,” the organization states in a press release. “It’s a mark of our collective humanity. The recent spread of COVID-19 in our society makes gathering difficult, but we continue to carry on to achieve this mission.”

“We are currently looking into rescheduling, and have every intention of remounting many of the shows/events for future seasons.”

We look forward to seeing Soundstreams again next season.
