THE SCOOP | Sondra Radvanovsky Pulls Out Of Aida At The MET

The Metropolitan Opera (The MET) has announced today that Canadian Soprano Sondra Radvanovsky has cancelled all upcoming January performance dates for Verdi’s Aida.

No reason was given other than “personal reasons”.

Soprano Kristin Lewis has been named as her replacement. She will be joining Yonghoon Lee, Dolora Zajick, and Roberto Frontali.

Radvanovsky will return to the role for the scheduled February 28, March 4 and 7.
