Lang Lang video performing with Metallica goes viral

Metallica, one of the world’s most adored trash metal rock bands, has released a video featuring Chinese superstar pianist Lang Lang playing their hit song “One”.

The video was filmed at Le Sports Center in Beijing on January 18, 2017 during the band’s ‘WorldWired’ tour. It is now going viral with over 1.5M views on Facebook alone.

According to Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Lang Lang was approached by Metallica’s team about the idea to play togeather, and he was excited to see it happen.

“It’s a perfect stage for musical friends to be united,” Lang Lang said in a statement to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. “Now everywhere I go, particularly in America, everyone is talking about it.”
