COFFEE BREAK | DJ Skratch Bastid – David Bowie Tribute "Let's Dance"

By Ludwig Van on January 11, 2016

David Bowie died yesterday of cancer at the age of 69. As a popular musician and actor, his influence was felt everywhere – even classical music. He surprised everyone in 1978 by releasing a recording of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. In 1996, composer Phillip Glass based his “Low Symphony” on the music of David Bowie, and others.

In the spirit of Ziggy Stardust, we give you a unique tribute to David Bowie by Toronto-based DJ Skratch Bastid.

Major Tom to Ground Control
I’m stepping through the door
And I’m floating in a most peculiar way…

RIP.
