Since the late 19th century, Moleskine notebooks have been a favourite of artists like Oscar Wilde, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, and Henri Matisse. They are always very high quality, and are printed on acid-free paper.

They now have a special Moleskine for musicians, perfect for jotting down harmonies, melodies and musical ideas. It contains 192 pages containing eight staves. The cost? Under $13.

You can pick one up online at Amazon.ca, or locally at Remenyi Music on Bloor St.
