Scarborough is bordered by Lake Ontario to the South, Victoria Park Avenue to the West,  Steeles Avenue East,on the North, and the Rouge River on the east. It was originally a separate city until the big amalgamation scooped it up in 1998.

In general, Scarborough shares many characteristics of a suburb of old Toronto. It topography is more rural the Bluffs, the Rouge Valley, and various creeks. Scarborough has the most trees of any other area of Toronto.

It’s hard to believe that Scarborough City Centre was just farmland fifty years ago. This area now shows an impressive skyline that many driving in from the east mistake for Toronto’s. The city centre focuses around Scarborough Town Centre Mall and the Scarborough Civic Centre. Besides its incredible growth, the area boasts a large amount of Canadian talent including the Barenaked Ladies, Kardinal Offishall, Mike Myers and even has its own Walk of Fame.
