Women’s Musical Club Of Toronto | Blake Pouliot, violin
May 7, 2020 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
$45One of Canada’s most promising young artists, in 2018 Blake Pouliot won both the Career Development Award from the Women’s Musical Club of Toronto, and the Canada Council for the Arts Virginia Parker Prize. Described by the Toronto Star as, “One of those special talents that come along once in a lifetime,” and by Montreal’s La Presse as “Clearly. Absolutely. Undoubtedly virtuoso,” Blake is building a spectacular career performing in recital and with major orchestras. His recently recorded debut album of works by Ravel and Debussy and last year was nominated for a JUNO. He performs on the 1729 “Guarneri del Gesù” violin, on loan from the Canada Council Musical Instrument Bank.
