7 to 7:15 pm, MacMillan Theatre stage: Professor Sherry Lee, Associate Dean of Research, welcomes Dean Don McLean to the first Symphony Talk of the 100th anniversary season, to consider the work of his deanly predecessor Sir Ernest Macmillan featured on the program, and Associate Professor Steven Vande Moortele, expert in 19th-century orchestral forms, to discuss the music of Berlioz.
