“For me, music begins where words cease…” declared Sibelius.
Let the TSYO transport you through a story by first setting the scene with Messiaen’s Les Offrandes oubliées, painting the air with impressionist-like sound. Followed by Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture and De Falla’s El amor brujo telling the stories of love. Finally finishing with Sibelius’ Symphony No.1 where the objectivity of the music speaks for itself allowing you as an audience member to write your own ending! Plus, RBC Resident Conductor, Trevor Wilson joins the TSYO as a guest conductor.
