John Adams’s jazz- influenced 2013 commission, Saxophone Concerto is an animated and energetic display of the instrument’s dexterity and range, performed by the incomparable Steven Banks in its Canadian Première, and a World Première by Toronto Symphony Orchestra NextGen Composer Katerina Gimon opens the performance.
