New works by the TSO’s NextGen Composers—mentored by Composer Advisor Emilie LeBel and Gustavo Gimeno—meet iconic classics by one of history’s greatest composers, Johannes Brahms. Join Icelandic sensation Víkingur Ólafsson as he brings his unique touch to Brahms’s First Piano Concerto, an impassioned blend of heartfelt melodies and dramatic flair, followed by a stirring season finale, Brahms’s Fourth Symphony, revealing the timeless beauty and brilliance of the composer’s music.
