Toronto Summer Music | Breathings

July 22 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$26
Members of the chamber ensemble Constantinople

Breathings is a celebration of our intimate relationship with nature. It is a concert that places the breath at the centre of the musical act, in which Constantinople’s musicians and their guests from indigenous communities are guided by the pulsing of a heartbeat and the human voice in all its forms.

Constantinople is:

Kiya Tabassian, setar, voice, and direction
Darlene Gijuminag, Mi’kmaq drums and singing
Celina Kalluk, Inuit throat singing
Kianoush Khalilian, ney
Didem Başar, kanun
Etienne Lafrance, double bass
Patrick Graham, percussion
