Toronto Bach Festival | The Sonatas & Partitas For Solo Violin
May 14, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

These six works have set the standard for solo violin virtuosity up to this day, and we’re delighted to have four of Toronto’s finest-period violinists take on Bach’s amazing (and challenging) Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin.
Julia Wedman, Patricia Ahern, Valerie Gordon, and Cristina Zacharias take us on a musical journey from profound darkness to brilliant luminescence. This is baroque violin at its very best!
Presented in two parts, this will be a perfect opportunity to explore the bustling Danforth community for dinner between performances.
Pre-concert chat at 3 PM by Larry Beckwith.
