Join Music Director Michael Newnham and Orchestra Toronto on an emotional odyssey to open our 2022-23 season.

Composer in Residence Elizabeth Raum’s Mirror Image was composed for two orchestras. To open our season, the composer has re-written it so that a single orchestra can perform it.

Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor is one of the most popular piano concertos ever composed, and has been featured in movies, Jethro Tull concerts, comedy, and video games.

Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, in B minor, famously known as his Pathétique Symphony, was the last symphony he ever composed. It is not so much pathetic as deeply passionate.
