Since its formation in 2000, the Quartetto di Cremona has established a reputation as one of the most exciting chamber ensembles on the international stage. Unanimously considered the true heir of the great Quartetto Italiano, 2018 brought the release of their recording of the complete Beethoven string quartets (Audite). Of special interest is that the Nippon Music Foundation has entrusted them with the Stradivarius “Paganini Quartet” of instruments, well known to us from the final years of the Tokyo Quartet.
