London Symphonia | Kindness
November 2, 2024 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
$55
London Symphonia’s upcoming concert is rooted in what is free to give but priceless to receive, kindness. This carefully curated performance will be shared from the hearts of our guest artists, actors and singers Glynis Ranney and Mike Nadajewski, conductor and arranger Ben Bolt-Martin, and the musicians.
Kindness presents a fusion of orchestral music, original composition, musical theatre and pop songs woven together through storytelling. It explores everyday acts of kindness to extraordinary, more profound acts, and reminds us of humanity’s incredible capacity for compassion in a light hearted and heartfelt way.
“We came up with the concept of Kindness as a concert, when Canadian stage veterans and partners in life Glynis Ranney and Mike Nadajewski approached me with their genuine fascination with the theme,” said Andrew Chung, Artistic Producer of London Symphonia.
“They had discovered stories ranging from small to radical acts of kindness and self-sacrifice and were interested in creating a captivating concert with London Symphonia that would present these stories interspersed with carefully selected pieces from the worlds of stage musicals, and popular songs. What we’ve created together is a magical and moving evening that shares moments of solemnity, reflection and hilarity.”
