London Symphonia | A Bohemian Life
April 6 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
$70“A Bohemian Life is one of our most intriguing concerts of the season,” said Andrew Chung, Artistic Producer of London Symphonia. “We have woven the concept of what it means to live a Bohemian life into every facet of the program — to sweep you away, and make you listen anew.”
Conductor Tania Miller and guest artist soprano Midori Marsh will join the London Symphonia to perform the World Premiere of Lasker-Schüler Songs, a song cycle composed by London-based composer Scott Good. Also on the program:
- Antonín Dvořák’s Silent Woods, performed with soloist Christine Newland, who is retiring after 48 seasons with LS;
- Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune;
- Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.
