Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra | Intimate & Immersive: The Five Senses
February 27 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
$40
The Five Senses
Our experiences as humans are governed by our senses and their interaction with the world that surrounds us. From sight affecting how we hear in a concert, smell impacting our visual perception of things and people, as well as accounting for a myriad of other examples, we experience the subtle and mysterious dance of our senses without much thought. It is in their absence that we feel their value the most and observe the most radical changes in our human experiences.
In the intimate and warm atmosphere of the Cotton Factory, visually transfigured by immersive light and colour schemes, we explore the five senses, their absence and the relationship between them through music and sound.
James S Kahane, Conductor
