Hope & Refuge presents uplifting and beautiful music for our times. In this unprecedented time, music provides a balm of comfort and hope, bringing us closer together in spirit, even as we stay apart, physically.
This performance features a performance of the song-cycle The Hope of Loving by Jake Runestad, accompanied by string quartet, the world premiere of a new work by Tim Corlis, and a stunning setting of Jack Layton’s inspiring words from his “Letter to Canadians,” by The Elora Singers’ own Jeff Enns.
