The 44th Elora Festival opens in the beautiful warm acoustic of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fergus with the majestic sounds of J.S. Bach’s motets Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf, the joyous Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied, and Brahms’ hope-filled “Human” Requiem in a stunning chamber arrangement by Joachim Linckelmann.
