collectif9 is coming back to Toronto! We’re celebrating the launch of our second album at the Lula Lounge. No Time for Chamber Music is inspired by the works of Gustav Mahler. Performance of works from the album and others. Bar service and snack menu available. Come and hang out!

Exploring extreme dualities, No Time for Chamber Music satirically magnifies the play between opposing forces – (wo)man and nature, life and death, dark and light, frivolous and serious, melodies and fragments – with glimmering folk dances and allusions to the stillness of nature. collectif9 delves into rich and complex musical textures in intimate arrangements of works by Mahler.
