PIANO VIRTUOSO SERIES
Alexander Malikov, Juilliard graduate and multi-prize winning pianist, has performed extensively across Canada and the United States. He performs a program centered on excerpts from 15 for Piano by Canadian composer Howard Bashaw. This major contemporary work showcases the full dramatic range of the pianist, from explosive and roaring virtuosity to moments of fleeting tranquility and shadowy murmurings. The program also features works by Liszt and Granados.
