In this spooky Halloween-themed concert, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana will transport audiences to a rollicking medieval time, while Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells will provide a trance-like journey into the cult classic soundtrack of The Exorcist.
This concert will be a spectacular event with a spine-chilling wall of sound provided by 135 singers, two grand pianos and a massive percussion set up. We will spotlight incredible soloists and the choir will perform with the TorQ Percussion Quartet, the Bergmann Duo, and the Toronto Children’s Chorus.
Dress up to become part of the experience and show off your costume at an intermission parade! With its neo-gothic design, The Metropolitan United Church sets a perfect spooky vibe for the chilling repertoire that will be sure to get you into the Halloween spirit.
