THE SCOOP | Massive Choir Sings David Bowie's Space Oddity At The AGO

By Michael Vincent on January 18, 2016

On Sunday, January 17, a massive sing-along was organised at the Art Gallery of Ontario by a no commitment drop-in Choir, Choir! Choir! Choir! started by Toronto’s Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman.

In honour of David Bowie’s tragic passing to cancer at the age of 69, the 550+ voice choir sang Bowie’s haunting ballad “Space Oddity”.

The Choir specialises in transforming pop songs into choral works and invites anyone from the public to participate.

They have performed with Patti Smith, Tegan and Sara, the Toronto International Film Festival Closing Gala, and at TEDx Toronto 2014.

Choir! Choir! Choir! meets weekly at Clinton’s Tavern, in the back room. Visit the How to Join page to learn about weekly invites, etc.
