Management for Canadian soprano Measha Brueggergosman issued a statement today confirming that Ms. Brueggergosman is not pregnant.

This statement is in response to the erroneous report generated recently by Europa Press.

Last year, the singer’s management cancelled a number of engagements for the 2011-12 season because, at the time, Ms. Brueggergosman was expecting.

Ms. Brueggergosman looks forward to her upcoming engagements starting this month with I’ve Got A Crush on You – An Evening with Measha Brueggergosman in Halifax (February 6 – 8) and Fredericton (February 10 and 11); as a celebrity judge for the television series Canada’s Got Talent which premieres on Citytv in March; and her debut in Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess with the Cincinnati Opera (June 28 – July).
