TSYO Conductor, Simon Rivard, conducts Lera Auerbach’s scintillating Icarus where myth becomes music. Followed by two concertos featuring winners of the TSYO’s 2021/2022 Concerto Competition. Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 1 performed by Ian Ye and Rossini’s Introduction Theme and Variations for Clarinet and Orchestra performed by Eugene Jung will have you in awe of their young talent! Finally, you’re sure to be on the edge of your seat listening to the curious Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances with its energetic rhythms with shifting harmonies.
