Experience the power and grandeur of Sibelius’s monumental Fifth Symphony, under the baton of eminent Finnish conductor and former TSO Music Director Jukka-Pekka Saraste. From soundscapes as vast and sweeping as the Finnish terrain and a soaring theme inspired by swans in flight, to one of the most unique and memorable finales ever written, this is an experience that will stay with you. A vibrant work by the TSO’s 2021/22 Spotlight Artist, Samy Moussa, opens this program of rich melodies and colours.
