Donald Runnicles leads Brahms’s haunting Third Symphony and two transcendent works highlighting the evolution of Richard Strauss over six decades, including his movingly existential tone poem, Death and Transfiguration. (Pictured: Sarah Jeffrey, TSO Principal Oboe)
