The esteemed Paavo Järvi returns with the serene beauty of Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and the grandeur of Sibelius’s Symphony No. 5, inspired by the natural beauty of the composer’s Finnish homeland. Accordion sensation Ksenija Sidorova adds a fresh twist to the program with Kõrvits’s dynamic Concerto for Accordion and Orchestra.
