A seasonal family celebration, featuring a screening of the animated classic The Snowman, with live orchestral music. Join Orchestra Toronto and special guests at our family-oriented concert to bring music and warmth to a chilly time of year.

• Generations of children of all ages have enjoyed,  The Snowman,*a wintertime classic animated film with a magical score by Howard Blake.
• Toronto-based composer Ron Royer’s A Canadian Christmas Fantasia premiered in 2016, and has quickly become a popular seasonal work for orchestras all over North America.
• Winner of the 2018 Marta Hidy prize for violin, Julia Mirzoev, will make her Orchestra Toronto debut, performing her chosen concerto.
• The Long&McQuade Instrument Petting Zoo will visit, allowing audience members to get up close and personal with their favourite musical instruments during intermission.
