This concert begins with an intimate arrangement of Beethoven’s famous “Pastoral Symphony” No. 6 and ends with Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night), a magical work by Schönberg depicting the heart-wrenching poem of a woman and a man in love walking through moonlit woods.
