Courtesy of the Toronto Consort, we’re giving away two tickets to see Quicksilver Fantasticus on Friday, Apr. 13 at 8:00 p.m. at Trinity-St Paul’s.
Quicksilver is a hot new ensemble of virtuoso players of early Baroque music. At one of their recent concerts, The New York Times reported that “the audience was on its feet cheering and hooting as if it were at a rock show.” Fantasticus features extravagant music from 17th-century Germany for violins, sackbut, dulcian and continuo, with works by Buxtehude, Bertali, Weckmann and Schmeltzer.
Full concert details found here.
The contest will run until Wednesday, April 11 at 5 p.m. Winners will be chosen at random and contacted via email with details.
