Highlights from 20 years of Art of Time Ensemble’s theatre, poetry, and song. Toronto’s innovative and eclectic Art of Time Ensemble celebrates their 20th anniversary season with a program of theatre, poetry, and music. The concert highlights range from poetry (Margaret Atwood’s, specifically, set to original music), to scenes from Shakespeare (Much Ado About Nothing, and Hamlet), to excerpts from the hilarious 2 Pianos, 4 Hands, and much more.

Art of Time Ensemble | Take This Waltz
Follow the path in 3/4 time as it winds from it’s origins in 19th-century Europe to the concert halls and nightclubs of the world. This program takes a kaleidoscopic approach to the waltz, including instrumental works by Maurice Ravel, Johann Strauss Jr., Bill Evans, and Frederic Chopin, plus songs by Tom Waits, Randy Newman, Leonard Cohen, and Jacques Brel.
