In addition to a live audience, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra would like to share its upcoming Grieg and Mahler program with audiences anywhere online in a free livestream.

The program includes world premières commissioned by the TSO as part of its Centennial Celebrations, a focus on two Spanish composers in a tribute to his native country by maestro Gustavo Gimeno, and masterworks from the classical repertoire.

Program details

“As we near the end of our 2021/22 season, we wanted to offer a gift to members of the community who have not yet been able to join us in Roy Thomson Hall,” says Music Director Gustavo Gimeno in a media release. “Of course, nothing replaces the experience of seeing and hearing an orchestra live, but, the musicians and I are very much looking forward to sharing this wonderful program, and the talents of Spanish guest pianist Javier Perianes, with audiences in the concert hall as well as online.”

You can view free by sending an RSVP by midnight June 8 here.
