There is a war brewing in the town of Christiansburg, Virginia.

For the past two weeks, businesses in the town of Christiansburg, Va. have been waging a hilarious “sign war” that has people from around the world following along.

It all started when Bridge Kaldro, a small music store, put up a sign on April 16. The sign challenged Super Shoes, a neighbouring store, to a sign war.

A few days later, the challenge was accepted with a reply.

That’s when the fun started…

It wasn’t long before other businesses joined in, including the Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi.

As COVID-19 continues to take its toll on small businesses, it’s nice to know that humour is still alive and well.
