COFFEE BREAK | Robot Choir Makes You Want To Question Humanity

YouTube Poster

(via) In what is is the creepiest thing that has crossed our path all week, a video produced by a technology firm in Japan has us feeling uneasy. The video shows a robot choir “singing” Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” from the 9th symphony. There is even a little robot conductor waving his little robot arm.

The tech firm has been working on methods to train robots to work together using music. This frightening Cylon choir makes you wonder if this means robots are one step closer, or backwards, to becoming our overlords.

BTW, Toyota is working on robot jazz bands. Not bad, really.
