Russell Braun to replace ailing John Relyea in Toronto Symphony Messiah

One big Canadian operatic name replaces another, as Georgetown resident Russell Braun replaces bass-baritone John Relyea in this week’s Messiah performances being presented by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

The press announcement stated that Relyea is ill.
