Inspired photography takes viewer right inside the music of Berlin Philharmonic

Travel writer Rebecca Rhoades sent me a link to five of the most beautiful promotional posters for music I’ve ever seen. They were commissioned for the chamber ensemble of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. There are two suggestions for a soundtrack, below.





Here is captivating English period-performance violinist Rachel Podger playing a Georg Philipp Telemann’s ninth Fantasia for solo violin, in B minor, followed by German organist Winfried Bönig playing the magnificent Homage to Handel by Sigfried Karg-Elert on the fabulous postwar Kleis organ at the cathedral in Cologne:
