Past and present, the Dragon Boat\u2019s drum beats to the rhythm of Qu Yuan and Xiao Lian\u2019s hearts. Both are conflicted by powerful love, and both desire ultimate freedom.<\/p>\n
Dragon\u2019s Tale is a joyous celebration of Chinese tradition with a Canadian backdrop bursting with soaring music, song and storytelling. Created by the world-renowned team behind Tapestry Opera\u2019s smash-hit Iron Road composer Chan Ka Nin, one of Canada\u2019s most accomplished Chinese-Canadian composers, and award-winning playwright and librettist Mark Brownell. Directed by Tapestry Opera\u2019s Artistic Director, Michael Hidetoshi Mori, with Musical Direction by David Fallis.<\/p>\n
