The guidebook of decadence.\u00a0James Kudelka\u2019s music\/dance theatrical, adapts author Joris\u2013Karl Huysman\u2019s scandalous\u00a01884 novel of bourgeois excess, and aesthetic contemplation. The story of\u00a0Jean des\u00a0Esseintes, an eccentric, recluse who loathes 19th\u2013century Parisian society and retreats\u00a0into an obsessive, artistic, and indulgent world of his own creation that ravages his\u00a0mind\u00a0and body.\u00a0Featuring original music by James Rolfe, and libretto by Alex Poch\u2013Goldin.<\/p>\n
