The Ariel serves as the Faculty Quartet-in-Residence at the University of Cincinnati\u2019s College Conservatory of Music, where they play their own annual series of concerts in addition to their busy international touring schedule<\/p>\n<p>\u2026vitality, clarity of line, depth of sound and an impeccable sense of direction.\u00a0The Strad<\/p>\n<p>Neue Bahnen (New Paths)<\/p>\n<p>Schumann, Quartet No. 1 in A Minor, Op. 41, No. 1<br \/>\nBeethoven, Quartet No. 11 in F Minor, Op. 95, &#8220;Serioso&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8211; &#8211; &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Webern. Five Movements for String Quartet, Op. 5<br \/>\nBrahms, Quartet No. 2 in A Minor, Op. 51, No. 2<\/p>\n<p>This program derives its title from the famous article Schumann wrote in 1853 heralding a new era with the arrival of then-unknown Brahms.
