They love to cook!<\/p>\n<p>The dynamic and charismatic\u00a0<strong>Heath Quartet<\/strong>\u00a0is considered one of the most exciting British chamber ensembles of the moment. In 2013, it became the first ensemble in 15 years to win the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society\u2019s Young Artists Award. In 2016, their recording (Tippett\u2019s string quartets) won Gramophones\u2019 Chamber Disc of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>The quartet has worked with many talented collaborators including Ian Bostridge, Adrian Brendel, Michael Collins, Stephen Hough, and the Tokyo Quartet. They are professors of chamber music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.<\/p>\n<p>Their program will include excerpts from string quartets by Mozart\u00a0<strong><em>C Major, K. 465 \u201cDissonance\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, Britten\u00a0<em><strong>No. 1 in D Major, Op. 25<\/strong><\/em>, and Beethoven\u00a0<strong><em>C Major, Op. 59, No. 3<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cThe music\u2019s potency and bravura were conveyed with thrilling conviction.\u201d \u2013<\/strong><\/em>The Guardian<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE SHOW: Join them in exploring Mozart and British composer Benjamin Britten, and some on0stage hi-jinx.
