Mir\u00f3 Quartet<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Miro\u0301 Quartet stands out in the world of classical music. Formed in 1995, the Miro\u0301 won both the Banff and Naumberg chamber music competitions, and in 2005 became the first ensemble ever to be awarded the coveted Avery Fisher Career Grant.<\/p>\n

In unforgettable performances, the Miro\u0301 achieve the chamber music ideal of sounding as if they are only one instrument, the pinnacle of communication and collaboration. The Miro\u0301 Quartet took its name from the Spanish artist Joan Miro\u0301, whose Surrealist works \u2014 drawing on the realm of memory, dreams, and imaginative fantasy \u2014 are some of the most ground-breaking and admired of the 20th century.<\/p>\n
