Women\u2019s Musical Club of Toronto\/Faur\u00e9 Quartett<\/h3>\n

Thursday Oct. 5 at 1.30 p.m. Walter Hall, Edward Johnson Building. $50.<\/p>\n

The venerable afternoon concert society starts its 126th season with the German piano quartet performing three works for this configuration: Beethoven\u2019s Op. 16, Max Reger\u2019s Op. 133 and Faur\u00e9\u2019s Op. 65. Info here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

RCM Orchestra\/Earl Lee<\/h3>\n

Friday Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. Koerner Hall. $25+<\/p>\n

The Korean-Canadian assistant conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra comes home for a program including Ravel\u2019s Bol\u00e9ro and Strauss\u2019s Also sprach Zarathustra. Highly recommended. Info here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Canadian Opera Company\/La Boh\u00e8me<\/h3>\n

Friday Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. Four Seasons Centre. $44+<\/p>\n

The COC season continues with a revival of the company\u2019s 2013 production of the Puccini favourite. The directorial concept? Marcello the painter has created all the sets. Whatever. Samoan tenor Pene Pati and Egyptian-born New Zealand soprano Amina Edris \u2014 married in real life \u2014 are Rodolfo and Mim\u00ed.
