It features remounts of its excellent 2008 production of Mozart&#8217;s <em>Abduction from the Seraglio<\/em> and a re-visit with Jean-Baptiste Lully&#8217;s great <em>Pers\u00e9e<\/em>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Toronto performances of <em>Pers\u00e9e<\/em> in the spring of 2014 will be followed by a return engagement at the Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles, which has not seen a production of Lully&#8217;s opera since it inaugurated the royal opera house in 1770.<\/p>\n<p>The casting for both operas is a mix of familiar Opera Atelier collaborators as well as some d\u00e9buts.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find all the details at Opera Atelier&#8217;s redesigned website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.operaatelier.com\/season\/13-14\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>John Terauds<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Opera Atelier has just announced its 2013-14 season.
