Sophia Mu\u00f1oz is the pianist. Louis Lortie, another old friend of the TSO, plays Mozart\u2019s <em>Piano Concerto No. 23 K. 488<\/em>. After intermission we hear Rachmaninoff\u2019s familiar <em>Symphonic Dances<\/em>. Also heard are Grieg\u2019s <em>String Quartet No. 1<\/em> and Gy\u00f6rgy Ligeti\u2019s<em> Sonata for Solo Cello<\/em>. Among the performers is an American ensemble, the Aizuri Quartet. Guest conductor Trevor Wilson adds Beethoven\u2019s <em>Coriolan Overture<\/em>.
