A snapshot from last Sunday’s Classical Social at Fionn MacCoull’s.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Classical Social’s second weekly pub jam night celebrates the obvious: Today marks the 257th anniversary of Mozart’s birth. Fine, then, any day is a good day to enjoy Mozart’s music, except that this is truly informal and as close as professional classical musicians get to spur-of-the-moment.<\/p>\n

The location is Fionn MacCoull’s pub on University Ave., one block south of the Four Seasons Centre.<\/p>\n

Classical Social is being organized by conductor Simon Capet, who does keyboard duty at these classical jams.<\/p>\n

The playlist for tonight’s event is staggering, to put it mildly. There is no cover charge, no need to change out of your Sunday sweats, and no need to committ for an all-evening stay:<\/p>\n
